This report summarises the findings from the Bees United survey conducted during October 2008. In previous years, Bees United has undertaken a postal survey of its members, but the reposnse rate was poor – only 74 responses were received in 2007. Following the success of the online consultation about the Lionel Road stadium, it was decided to conduct the 2008 survey online. It was also decided that the views of non-members should be collected in addition to those of members.

203 people completed the survey, comprising 106 BU members, 31 former members and 66 people who have never been members of Bees United.

It was also decided to make some changes to the questionnaire, as the scles used in previous years are diffoicult to interpret. This means that direct comparisons are not possible, but a view can be taken about the direction of change. In addition the questionnaire covered a wide range of topics.

The Trust would like record its thanks to Edmund Paton Walsh for his help in this year's survey
