In light of the current postal strike, the Bees United Election Working Group have extended the deadline for receipt of postal nominations for the forthcoming Board election to 12 noon, Thursday 11 October.
This will enable us to ensure that we have received any nominations posted by Thursday 4 October (the latest posting date to meet the original deadline of Friday 5 October).
In the meantime we would ask any member who has submitted a nomination form in the post on Wednesday 3 or Thursday 4 October to contact us by telephone on 07990 522 052 or e-mail to admin@beesunited.org.uk, so that we are aware of their intention to stand.
As a result of these measures the final list of nominees will now be announced on Friday 12 October; in all other respects the timetable for the elections remains the same.
