The eighth AGM of Bees United took place in St Paul's Parish Centre, St Paul's Road, Brentford on Saturday before the Darlington home game on 22 November.

Approximately 45 members attended with all items proposed on the agenda passed.

They were as follows:

  • Finance Report and Adoption of the Society’s Accounts for the year ending 31st May 2008
  • Reappointment of Levy & Partners as Auditors
  • Agreement to waive the requirement to hold another board election prior to the next AGM in November 2009 (see explanatory notes for further details)
  • It is agreed that the requirement to hold a further election within 13 months as detailed in Rule 54 of the Society Rules will be waived for the period prior to the date of the 2009 AGM.

With the meeting adjourned the Chair and Bees United board then took questions from the floor.

The Bees United Loan Note holders' AGM convened immediately after the Trust's AGM and elected Paul Stedman to serve on the BU board as its representative.
