Bees United continues to entertain a lucky Supporters’ Trust member plus guest in the boardroom at home games.
The latest Bees United members to have had their names drawn out of the hat were Sean Mitchell for the Leyton Orient game, Andy Evans for the match against Tranmere Rovers, and John Phillips for last Saturday’s contest against Yeovil Town. They all enjoyed pre-match and post-match hospitality and watched their games from the Directors’ Box.
Long-time Brentford supporter and Bees United member Sean Mitchell decided to bring his brother Frank to the Leyton Orient fixture. Family commitments mean that Sean struggles to get to Griffin Park on Saturdays these days, but lapsed supporter Frank says he’ll try to come to Brentford more often after having had such a good time.
“I’d like to thank Bees United for their kind hospitality,” said Andy Evans. “After almost 40 years coming to Griffin Park, it was fascinating to see the game from a different perspective, and of course seeing us keep our unbeaten run going.”
John Phillips decided to bring his daughter Jessica to the Yeovil match last Saturday. Both are lifetime Bees supporters; British Airways stewardess Jessica was first taken to Griffin Park when she was just two years of age.
