From midnight tonight, 31 March, new members of Bees United will not be eligible for a ticket allocation for the Luton fixture through their Bees United membership.

This decision was first announced in the Chesterfield matchday programme on 17 March and is in line with the football club's procedure for controlling ticket sales for the all-ticket Luton game on 2 May.

Bees United welcomes new members . . . whether you are joining for the first time, or simply returning to the fold. This is a temporary suspension of a membership privilege for new members which will apply only until after the Luton fixture or, in the event of the game selling out, until all of the Luton tickets are sold.

Any applications received after today will be processed, but will not be passed on to the club for the purposes of allocating Luton tickets. But rest assured that your support will still be valued by Bees United and the football club, and that you will still enjoy the other benefits of being a Bees United member.

Joining Bees United costs £15 which will cover you until June 2010. If you’re a student or senior citizen (60 or over), it’s £5, and only £2 for juniors under 16.
