Following a board meeting held on Monday Alan Bird and David Merritt have been nominated to represent the Trust on the Brentford FC board subject to their ratification at the club's AGM on November 28.
Bird and Merritt replace Joe Bourke and Brian Burgess, who retired by rotation following their election to the club board in September 2005 and January 2006 respectively.
As mentioned in an earlier news story David Merritt was elected as the Trust's new Chairman. As part of the agenda for Monday's meeting Chris Gammon was elected Society Secretary, with Stephen Callen resuming the role of Finance Director. All three positions were uncontested
Further officer appointments within the board were deferred until further notice.
